We will retain your data to check back historically where you originally registered from and we will be able to contact you using this data to verify you are still working in the events industry. Only if you have left your current organisation will we use it to check back and confirm your new personal data i.e. if you have a new organisational role or unless you notify us otherwise. We also retain your personal data for research purposes to see if another person has taken over your previous position. Retaining your personal data is also required if we receive notification to stop processing your personal data so we can exclude you in future direct marketing.
